We recently built a Key Perfomance Indicators module which is proving very popular with our clients since it allows us to define simple KPI’s without needing much in the way of technical expertise.
In other words, you can define weekly/monthly/yearly targets on any transaction type in the system such as: number of calls made, opportunities pipeline, sales made, on time deliveries etc. The targets can also be dynamic, such as a certain percentage increase to the previous year sales in the same month.
The module works by automatically building an SQL query to cater for simple scenarios and if required, it can be tweaked by a more technical person to take account of other information such as holidays or other constraints.
